First Capital Limited
First Capital Limited (FCL) is a credit-only financial institution, operating in Kenya since 2015. FCL offers business loans, purchase order financing, and advance payment guarantees to small and medium sized enterprises in the agribusiness, livestock and supporting sectors. The Impact for Northern Kenya Fund loan will be used to expand FCL’s portfolio into new areas within the Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC) region. To meet the requirements of its new clientele, FCL is currently developing Shariah-compliant lending products. FCL is matching the Impact for Northern Kenya Fund’s loan on a 1:1 basis to facilitate additional capital into northern Kenya.
