Jim Flock is a managing director who oversees global learning projects, provides technical support, and develops and disseminates high-quality technical approaches and tools while supporting ACDI/VOCA’s new business initiatives. Since joining ACDI/VOCA in 2005, Jim has held multiple positions at the Home and Project Offices around the world, including in South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Tanzania, and Kenya. At the Home Office, Jim has served as a project coordinator, deputy director, resilience advisor, and volunteer. He also recently served as the chief of party of the Feed the Future Kenya Resilience Learning Activity (RLA). Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA, Jim was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya working with ACDI/VOCA on the USAID Kenya Maize Development Program. He has received several awards and acknowledgments from USAID and ACDI/VOCA. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from John Carroll University and a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
