Jean-Frederic Beauchesne is the chief of party of the USAID Zambia Enterprise Development and Growth Enhanced (EDGE) Activity. In this role, he oversees more than 20 staff in implementing the USAID-funded activity aimed at increasing the profitability of small- and medium-sized agricultural enterprises by addressing their investment constraints. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2018, JF held unique leadership positions in Kenya, Central African Republic, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Ghana, North Korea and the Arctic, all while acquiring specialized skills in monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, socioeconomic assessment, and business communications. He holds a BA and an MA from Saint Mary’s University (Canada), where he received the Gold Medal for Development Studies.
