Cheryl Turner leads our Technical Learning and Application division in providing technical expertise in thought leadership, business development and innovative technical support to projects. In addition to management of the technical teams – Market and Food Systems; Gender, Youth and Social Inclusion; Agriculture and Environment; and Catalyzing Investment – she also provides direct technical support to projects and proposals, especially related to organizational capacity building, participatory processes and technical strategy. Before joining ACDI/VOCA in 2013, Cheryl served in leadership positions for Youth Challenge International, Peace Corps Cambodia, Peace Corp Mali, and the United States Department of Labor. She holds a BA in Russian from Bryn Mawr College, an MPH in health education and behavior from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is fluent in English and French.
