Thelonious Trimmell is the chief of party of the Feed the Future Honduras Food Security, Agriculture, and Resilient Market Systems (FARMS) Activity, a five-year, USAID-funded activity aimed at strengthening agricultural market systems in Honduras. Previously, he served as senior agribusiness advisor based in Portland, Oregon providing new business support and management oversight to multiple projects. Since joining ACDI/VOCA in 2001, Thelonious has supported projects in Peru, Panama, the Philippines, West Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa region as chief of party, deputy country director, project manager, and technical director. Previously, Thelonious worked in rural Honduras for over two years as an agricultural extension volunteer with the Peace Corps. He has an MA in international affairs and development studies from Ohio University and is fluent in English and Spanish.
