Mr. Sahmkow is vice president and treasurer of AgriBank, responsible for balance sheet strategy, loan transfer pricing, and treasury risk management since 2015. He joined AgriBank in 2012 as director of Asset Liability Risk Management. Previously, he was with Ally Financial where he last served as country risk director, building and implementing a country risk program for the bank holding company. He also held a variety of finance and risk management position within Ally’s various lines of business in the United States and in Europe. Luis holds a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela) and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
