Nicole M. Lee is a director of Agriculture & Resilience who supports projects in implementing activities and systems that improve the resilience of individuals, communities, and markets in the face of shocks and stressors. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2023, Nicole was a program officer at CNFA, supporting projects in Burkina Faso and Niger. She also worked as an independent consultant, providing agricultural extension and training to development projects. Nicole holds bachelor’s degrees in international studies, sustainable cropping and landscape systems, French, and Spanish from the University of Idaho. She also holds an MS in agricultural sciences in the Tropics and Subtropics from the University of Hohenheim (Germany) and a PhD in crop sciences from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Nicole is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is conversational in German.
