Jaha Zakhidov is a senior director of international human resources and compensation. In this role, he supports ACDI/VOCA’s workforce planning, talent management, compensation management, performance management, employee relations, staff engagement, and retention programs. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2017, Jaha was a human resources business partner at the World Wildlife Fund and an office head for the human resources department at the U.S. Embassy in Sultanate of Oman. Before moving to Oman, he worked at the U.S. Embassy in his home country of Tajikistan and supervised human resources operations for the Department of State and other agencies and departments. Jaha is fluent in Tajik (Persian), Russian, and English. Throughout his career working for U.S. embassies overseas, he received several Meritorious Honor Awards and Franklin Awards. He also received the ACDI/VOCA Presidential Award for his contributions to advancing internal systems.
