ACDI/VOCA CEO Bill Polidoro signed an MOU with Global Good’s head Maurizio Vecchione in Washington, D.C., this morning to establish a partnership between the two organizations.

Through the five-year partnership, ACDI/VOCA and Global Good will collaborate on research, development, and piloting agricultural, water, and nutrition-related technologies aimed at stimulating market system growth and improving food security worldwide. Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, Global Good is a collaborative effort between Bill Gates and Intellectual Ventures.
Global Good’s mission is to invent technologies focused on solving health and development challenges in low-resource contexts in the developing world. It seeks to make such technologies accessible and affordable. The partnership with Global Good is part of ACDI/VOCA’s ongoing commitment to working at the forefront of technology innovation, commercialization, and adoption aimed at improving lives around the world.
