New Project Won—Middle East and North Africa: Farmer-to-Farmer Program
ACDI/VOCA has won a $7.24 million, 5-year, USAID-funded Farmer-to-Farmer (FtF) program in the Middle East and North Africa. ACDI/VOCA has been a leading implementer of FtF: through it and other programs over the years we have placed expert volunteers in over 120 emerging market and developing countries.
For the FtF program in the Middle East and North Africa, ACDI/VOCA will field highly qualified volunteers to support agricultural development activities with an emphasis on improving private agricultural operations. Activities may relate to all aspects of agricultural production and post-harvest activities, such as processing, marketing, credit and input supply, improved agribusiness management, environmental conservation and improved policy and regulatory regimes.
